A Week in the Life of a Leadership Coach

Phew! What a week! It's been extremely busy , so I thought I would share a few of the highlights.
This week I've coached three new clients. One of them is an Ambition Institute NPQEL participant, another is an Operations Manager, and the third is an experienced executive and system leader. In all cases, it has been such a pleasure to start new coaching journeys and to provide quality time for reflection and consideration of next steps.
I've also coached two other clients - both inspiring middle leaders that I've been working with for two years. It's been so rewarding to see their growth.
I've also written and published my newsletter this week focused on Women in Leadership, to tie in with the launch of the first in-person events for the Devon Women's Leadership Network. In this edition, I share data about the current inequalities facing women in leadership positions in education, and also share an article about strategies that women can use to improve as leaders.
I've also had three virtual and in-person catch ups with brilliant members of the Women's Leadership Network.
I've attended two sessions with my business strategist, Nicole Louise Winer. She's helping me adapt and extend my offers to clients to better serve their needs.
I also attended the Endeavour Chapter of the BNI (Business Network International) in Plymouth as the guest of Chaz Lawrence. It was so great to meet other business leaders and to learn more about the power of networking.
I met with Neil Short, the Chairman of the National Association of Small Schools to celebrate all things small schools, which are so hard-wired into serving their communities. I'm looking forward to providing an article for the association, and I plan to write my next newsletter on this topic too.
I also attended a couple of training events. Firstly, an EMCC UK training session focused on Embodied Coaching Presence led by Ruth Friedman, and secondly, a SIAMS inspector training session focused on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Justice led by Emily Norman.
I often forget to capture my work, so here is a photo of one of my sessions with the lovely Nicole.
😅 Phew! What a week!
🤔 What have the highlights of your week been?
