I messed up!

Heads Up - this is NOT an April fool 🙈 Just a regular fool...

Have you ever majorly messed up?

I did last month.

And I'm hoping that you can help. 🤞

On 6th March, I had a stand at the International Women's Day event at the Crowne Plaza Plymouth at an event organised by West Country Women Awards. It was the first time I've ever had a stand at an event and I made a rookie error.😮‍💨

I had an amazing time during the day with some fabulous members of the Devon Women's Leadership Network, and gave out lots of leaflets and information.

I also organised a prize draw for a bottle of bubbly. During the day, we diligently collected names and email addresses and added them to the draw. I had hoped to add these people onto my mailing list after the event.

At the end of the day the lovely Alexis Bowater presented the bottle to Alison Hernandez, the lucky winner.

When I got home, I diligently typed up the names and email addresses into an excel spreadsheet, and then shredded the originals.

A week or so later, I then looked for that excel file, and it no longer exists! Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

So, in summary, I spent the whole day building relationships with some lovely people, and left the day with 0 new contacts. 🫣
