Clarity Day

Something quite powerful happened last week…
I brought together a group of women for a one-day Devon Women's Leadership Network Clarity Day.
Different sectors. Different roles. Different experiences.
And yet, within hours, something shifted.
Here’s how the delegates described it:
• “Affirming, inspiring, comforting”
• “A space of clarity, kindness and generosity”
• “A great sense of belonging”
• “The cross-sector mix was magic”
• “I felt heard in a safe space”
• “It broke down my barriers”
• “I don’t usually keep my attention for a whole day, but I did”
What struck me most wasn’t just the positivity.
It was the relief.
Relief of being able to think out loud.
Relief of not having to have all the answers.
Relief of being with women who understand the weight of leadership.
Because here’s the truth:
So many women leaders are carrying so much… quietly.
The decisions.
The pressure.
The emotional load.
The constant second-guessing.
And very few spaces where they can put that down, even briefly.
Last week proved what happens when that space does exist:
Clarity emerges.
Confidence returns.
Connection changes everything.
✨ This is exactly why I’m now repeating the day on June 2nd. ✨
If you need space to think about your business or your leadership, and want the opportunity to work with other women who lead, this day is gifted for you.
You will leave the day with greater clarity about your vision, goals and strategy.

And thank you to the wonderful Ben Slater for documenting the day, leading us on a walk, and creating this wonderful poem to sum up the day.
